Title:"Running a Sea-level Model on Mars"
Abstract:
Motivated by suggestions that the fluvial features on Mars may have been formed by episodic glacial melting events in the planet’s deep past, we adapted a terrestrial sea-level model to run on Mars. I will outline some of the challengeswe encountered, share some preliminary outputs, and discuss the next steps. I will also touch on how some of the results might relate back to a recent article we published on the valley networks and the possible ancient ocean on Mars.
