Public AstroNight: Dark Matter Day

Join AstroMcGill for a special AstroNight panel discussion to celebrate Dark Matter Day. Three McGill researchers will discuss their hunt for the mysterious stuff that makes up most of the matter in the Universe and answer your questions about dark matter. The panelists: Dr. Jonathan Cornell is a postdoctoral fellow at McGill. He works on WIMP dark matter theory and the phenomenology of direct dark matter searches. Dr. Ben Zitzer is a postdoctoral fellow at McGill. He works on the indirect detection of dark matter using the VERITAS gamma-ray observatory. Dr. Andreas Warburton is an Associate Professor at McGill. He works on dark matter searches using the ATLAS detector on the Large Hadron Collider.
